Let us commemorate Philippine Independence Day by remembering the lives lost and communities displaced by violence by the Maute group and aerial bombings by the Philippine military. We call for justice and for an end to human rights violations and Martial Law. We invite the Bay Area community to stand with the struggle of the Filipino people for social, economic, and political reforms that will bring about lasting peace and real freedom in Mindanao. Please contact AV at alliancesec@nafconusa.org or 650-491-4561 if you have any questions about this activity or would like to get involved in the Bay Area Says No To Martial Law campaign.
